Who has the best job in the World?

Who has the best job in the World-- Zuckerberg? Obama and Bernanke? or Lady Gaga?

I woud say it's Kobe.

Driving a Ferrari or taking a helicopter, sometimes a private jet to work, and either silencing or making a crowd of 20000 crazy by knocking down big-time shots are not the only special things about Kobe's job. Let me share some of my thoughts about his profession based on my research.

First of all, instead of hard-to-please customers, he has fans, including Hollywood stars, rock singers, politicians, businessmen...who appreciate what he does and do not hesitate to pay as much as $80K to watch his game, just one game...That's the privilege of being the most famous man in LA and one of the most famous athletes on the planet.
Next, there is no real boss for him, only supporters, the very best ones. Plus, he has a colleague who is named Meta Worldpeace. (The funny thing is that this is the name on his passport!). At least, his working environment must be exciting!
And last, what about the very important aspect of any job--pay? -- Highest in the league. In my calculation, he gets a salary of about $11K for stepping on the floor each MINUTE during this season --Not bad!

Above all, he enjoys his job, very much.
All these facts make one curious about one thing--how hard he has worked to get this s*xy job?

Very hard, since he was 6-7.
When most children of his age did not have a real dream yet, Kobe watched top athlete's games and tried to imitate their moves on the hardwood. Luckily, he had "some" talents...
When most other high school kids were hanging out or having date nights, he was in the gym working on his games. All these efforts, including 5 a.m workouts and summer vacation trainings, helped him to get into the League at the age of 17, the youngest ever.
Then, as a pro, 6 hours a day, 6 days a week offseason workouts, 2-3 hour earlier appearance on team practices,  4 hours of workout even on a game-day, 1000 made shots almost every single day has become his things...Obviously, almost every pro, especially stars, are famous for their work ethics, but Kobe's work ethic is as exceptional as his professional career. The fact that none of the other superstars in Kobe's era has 5 championship rings makes his work ethic so special. Can he get his 6th ring this season-- we will see...

One last question: how he gets other things in life done? --Simple: Kobe doesn't do much things--he is completely focused on his stuff.

His private life is his 2 daughters.

He either does workouts or watches game tapes most of the time. Pushing himself to the level that hurts and feeling pains in his muscles is his addiction. He runs till he feels his lungs are burning so that he wants to spit up some blood; & crazy thing is that he loves it.

Social life is not in his vocabulary. He doesn't have neither close friends nor FB, twitter accounts; he turns off his cellphone during playoffs & then deletes all incoming messages after the Finals, without reading them.

In his free time, he attends TV shows and some endorsement deal related events. He makes trips abroad during the Olympics (sometimes it is a "business trip") and the World Cups...

& boy, he enjoys his life, pretty much, because he knows he has the best job in the world...
